With only 2 volleyball games so far, the business at the concession stand has been pretty slow. 5-6 people will be needed
during basketball season. A plea for help will be put in the November newsletter.
Cindy Hobbs reported on the fundraising efforts
so far. There have been several new faces helping with the doughnut sales and the home game sales. We increased our doughnut
sales at the home games to 75 dozen. Cindy, Terry and Nancy worked the Connect With Groveport event that was held on Friday,
September 28th . We still have plenty of blankets to sell and about 20 or so band calendars. Kroger Card updated
– we have reached our threshold amount!! We will start getting checks monthly.
Bessie Buckland reported on the uniforms and thanked
all the volunteers.
Sarah Brown reported that contest went extremely
well and appreciates the support in the philosophy. The reason the trophies are not in the case is because the case just broke.
There are 110 bags of candy are left. The Parade went great – the band will receive a donation for performing at the
parade.
New fundraising opportunities at the Columbus
Zoo, Cooper Stadium and Nationwide Arena. Cindy Hobbs will be getting details.
